May God Bless you as you learn about His message to us, The Holy Bible

This is a new release of the Bible Reader program, (January 22nd, 2009), King James Bible with Strong's reference numbers.
Note:
Strong's reference numbers are numbers that were assigned as
a cross-reference of every word in the in the original text (Hebrew, Greek, etc..) of the KJV Bible. A way you can use them, is to first search on a Strong's number in a verse of interest to you, then study the other places that God used the same word in the Bible. In this way, Lord willing, you can better understand the meaning God has for this particular word.
The Bible Reader program adds a "0" in front of the Old Testament Strong's numbers, to differentiate them from the New Testament Strong's numbers.

Download the: BibleReader v1.01.exe Recommended (3.0 meg download),
OR
for some older computers without Microsoft NET Framework 2.0, download the:
BibleReader v1.01 including Microsoft NET Framework.exe
(LARGE 30.6 meg download).
[If needed, Microsoft NET Framework can also be downloaded from the Microsoft website]

To install this program:
1) Download the .exe file.
2) Click the .exe file, and follow the instructions.

Note: The "S" key toggles the Strong's numbers on and off, and the "M" key toggles the mood numbers, on and off.

This program is called "Bible Reader" and its version is 1.01.

Version 1.01 Bible Reader changes:
  • Added the .NET Framework to the Setup File.
  • Removed the Chapter and Verse pulldown boxes next to the "New" Button.
  • Added popup windows for Book, Chapter and Verse. Clicking new will now open a popup of Books, followed by Chapters and then verses. Right clicking or moving the mouse away from the window will close the popups.
  • Corrected error with font changes causing an application error.
  • Corrected error with caret placement and the window title when the caret was placed before the first viewable character.
  • Changed copyright date to 2009.
  • Implemented error logging. When an application error occurs, a log of the error will be created in the application directory. The log file is limited in size and will store up to approximately 23K before the oldest events are removed.
  • The installation folder will no longer abort if a previous version of the Bible Reader is installed on the target machine.

As the Lord is willing, please send feedback to me concerning your experience in using this program, and any improvements you would like to see. Here is a link to my contact information page, Feedback.

Thank you

Martin Lee
